Client gifts with your firm’s crest that people keep

Client gift ideas that do not end up in the bin: playing cards, a hardcover notebook and a woven cushion, each carrying your firm’s crest or monogram.

Why most client gifts disappear

Branded pens, mugs and calendars are polite, and most are given away within the year. A client gift that lasts has to be something the client would have chosen for themselves: well made, useful and only quietly branded.

A box with your crest

A navy gift box holding a notebook and a deck of playing cards, both with the Ashdown coat of arms, and a card reading With thanks, Ashdown Estates.

Illustrative scene made from a real Fable design; not a photograph of a delivered order.

Preview your firm’s crest

Ashdown Estates send a navy box with a hardcover notebook and a deck of playing cards, both carrying their arms, and a card that says With thanks. Nothing in it looks like advertising, and everything in it gets used.

Playing cards

A deck of playing cards on green baize with the Hartley coat of arms on the box and card backs, an ace and a king fanned beside a glass of whisky.

Illustrative scene made from a real Fable design; not a photograph of a delivered order.

See the playing cards

A full 54-card deck with your crest or monogram on every back, proofed before printing. Cards are the most shared gift in a household over the holidays.

A hardcover notebook

An A5 hardcover notebook with your mark on the cover and pages drawn in its colours, lined, dotted, squared or blank. A notebook on a client’s desk is seen every working day.

A woven cushion

For the clients who have been with you longest, a cushion with your crest woven on both sides is a gift for the home. It is made to order, so plan ahead.

Who gets what

Not every client needs the same gift. Send the deck of cards to clients you have worked with this year, the notebook to the people you speak to every week, and keep the cushion for a handful of long relationships. Write each card by hand. A short, specific line, a matter you finished together or a house you found them, matters more to the client than the gift itself, and it is the part they remember when they open the box again next December.
