Figures gather beside a rocky pool in a drawing by Salvator Rosa. The Cleveland Museum of Art dates the source to 1660–73 and records pen and brown ink with grey and brown wash. The broken rocks and loosely worked vegetation give the small scene a restless atmosphere.

Surrealium’s AI-assisted colour interpretation follows the drawing’s composition in earth tones, olive and blue. The museum source remains alongside the edition for comparison, showing how line and wash become a contemporary colour study.
