This Atelier Edition presents a new, AI-assisted color interpretation of an iconic 18th-century etching by Giovanni Battista Piranesi, the master of architectural fantasy. Piranesi's original black-and-white plate captured the monumental scale and enduring romance of the ancient Temple of the Sibyl at Tivoli. Our contemporary edition revisits this Neoclassical masterwork, introducing a new palette conceived by the artists at Surrealium.

Drawing on the play of light and shadow in the original composition, this interpretation uses a palette of sun-bleached limestone, muted bronze, and verdigris, with deep blue shadows that articulate the temple's classical forms. The result is a piece that feels both ancient and modern, bringing a sense of architectural grandeur and serene, sculptural light to any interior.

This exclusive color edition is available to purchase as a fine-art print or gallery canvas without a subscription. Subscribers to the Surrealium studio have the additional option to customize the work. Each piece is printed to order on heavyweight, archival matte museum-grade paper using pigment inks for enduring color and detail. This edition is prepared and reviewed by Surrealium's artists at Kastellet, a 17th-century sea fortress in the Stockholm archipelago.
