Gainsborough painted a barefoot boy at the edge of a dark wood in the morning light, a small cat emerging from the brush beside him. We keep his rich, feathery brushwork and pale dawn sky, and paint you and your cat in their places.

Send us a photo and we’ll paint it into A boy with a cat, morning, 1787.
