Choose a clear exterior photo that shows the parts of the building you want in the portrait. Keep the roofline and entrance visible, and avoid cars or trees blocking important details.
Use a sharp photograph in good daylight. Include the whole building where possible and avoid very wide-angle distortion, screenshots or distant street views.
